Kristen DeSilva

Kristen DeSilva returned to the Las Vegas Review-Journal in May 2025 nearly a decade after her professional career began at the newspaper.

In the meantime, she worked for other local news outlets, including Nevada Public Radio and KVVU-TV. Kristen grew up in Las Vegas and is a graduate of the journalism and media studies program at University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

In her off time, she's outside looking for birds, exploring remote corners of the Silver State or watching disaster movies. She lives in Southern Nevada with her fiancé and four cats.
