Summer concert series lineup announced

The first shows of the Mandalay Bay Beach Summer Concert Series have been announced. Tickets for all of the following shows go on sale at noon today at Ticketmaster outlets:

■ Summerland 2012, with Everclear, Sugar Ray, Gin Blossoms, Lit and Marcy Playground, June 30; $40.

■ Sublime with Rome, with Cypress Hill, July 21; $47.50.

■ Colbie Callait, with Gavin DeGraw, Aug. 18; $45.

■ Ziggy Marley, Aug. 31; $40.

Classic rock mainstays the Eagles return to the MGM Grand Garden arena on Nov. 17. Tickets are $68.25, $93.45, $157.50 and $210 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday at Ticketmaster outlets.

Prog rockers Yes play The Pearl at the Palms on Aug. 19, with Procol Harum. Tickets start at $44 and go on sale at noon today at The Pearl box office, 4321 W. Flamingo Road, and Ticketmaster outlets.

Disco pop subverts the Scissor Sisters enliven the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay on June 15. Tickets are $32 in advance, $36 day of show and go on sale at 10 a.m. today at the House of Blues box office, 3950 Las Vegas Blvd. South, and Ticketmaster outlets.

Melodic punks The Bouncing Souls slam into the House of Blues on July 13. Tickets are $26 in advance, $29 day of show and go on sale at 10 a.m. today at the venue box office and Ticketmaster outlets.

The death metal-leaning Summer Slaughter Tour, featuring Cannibal Corpse, Between the Buried and Me, Exhumed and others, crushes the House of Blues on July 22. Tickets are $32.50 in advance, $36 day of show and go on sale at 10 a.m. today at the venue box office and Ticketmaster outlets.

Emotive popsters The Rocket Summer perform at the Hard Rock Cafe on the Strip on June 7, with the Scene Aesthetic and States. Tickets are $15 in advance, $18 day of show and go on sale at noon Monday at the Hard Rock Cafe box office, 3771 Las Vegas Blvd. South, and www.ticketweb.com.
