Carlisle, Flock of Seagulls play in Henderson
An end-of-summer music festival and a concert featuring Belinda Carlisle, A Flock of Seagulls and Men Without Hats are part of the fall performance schedule at the Henderson Pavilion amphitheater, 200 S. Green Valley Parkway.
The season kicks off at 7 p.m. Saturday with KLUC-FM, 98.5's End of Summer Block Party, an all-ages music festival starring "X Factor" finalist Chris Rene, teen heartthrob Austin Mahone and Outasight. Tickets start at $9.95.
Also on the fall schedule is an '80s music festival with Carlisle, A Flock of Seagulls and Men Without Hats at 7 p.m. Sept. 6. Tickets are $20.
The Henderson Symphony will perform a free concert at 8 p.m. Sept. 14, featuring music from Beethoven, Mozart and Rossini.
The musical "Seussical" will be performed by Rag Tag Entertainment and MTI at 8 p.m. Sept. 21-23 and 28-30. This original Broadway musical brings to life characters from the popular Dr. Seuss books. All tickets are $10.
The Emmy-winning Imagination Movers bring a high-energy rock concert for families to the pavilion at 7 p.m. Oct. 5. Tickets are $10.
Another free concert by the Henderson Symphony concludes the season at 8 p.m. Oct. 12. The symphony's theme is "From Russia With Love."
