Crystal Pepsi is coming back later this summer — VIDEO

Pepsi announced earlier this week the return of aspartame in its diet soda, but on Wednesday the pop giant announced something a little more interesting — the return of Crystal Pepsi.

You might remember the clear Pepsi from the 1990s. Twenty-ounce bottles will be released across the country starting Aug. 8 and July 7 in Canada.

Playing the nostalgia card, the re-release will be accompanied by a special website featuring “The Crystal Pepsi Trail,” PepsiCo’s version of “Oregon Trail,” a news release stated.

According to AdAge, there are no plans for TV commercials at this time.

At least we can still watch the old ones. (Right now!)
