Twist gets five diamond rating

Twist, the lofty realm of Michelin-starred chef Pierre Gagnaire on the 23rd floor of the Mandarin Oriental at CityCenter, is the latest Las Vegas restaurant to receive a AAA Five Diamond Award.

Twist joins repeat performers Joel Robuchon at MGM Grand, Le Cirque and Picasso at Bellagio and Guy Savoy at Caesars Palace.

AAA also announced its Five Diamond Award-winning hotels on Friday; all of them held the award previously. They are Aria, Aria Sky Suites, Bellagio, Four Seasons, Mandarin Oriental, Skylofts at the MGM Grand and Wynn Tower Suites.

Four Diamond Award-winning restaurants, all of whom have won previously, are Alize at the Palms; Andre’s at the Monte Carlo; Aureole at Mandalay Bay; Bartolotta Ristorante di Mare, SW Steakhouse, The Country Club and Wing Lei at Wynn Las Vegas; B&B at the Venetian; Botero at Encore; Carnevino and Cut at the Palazzo; Craftsteak, L’Atelier Joel Robuchon and Shibuya at the MGM Grand; the Eiffel Tower Restaurant and Gordon Ramsay Steak at Paris Las Vegas; Jasmine, Michael Mina, Prime and Sensi at Bellagio; Michael’s Gourmet Room at the South Point; Mix at the Delano; Sage at Aria; and Spago at The Forum Shops at Caesars.
