Baskin-Robbins launching ‘Polar Pizza’ dessert this summer

Baskin-Robbins is launching what could arguably be the best food mash-up yet — an ice cream pizza.

Dubbed the “Polar Pizza,” the dessert will feature a crust that consists of either a soft-baked, 9-inch-round chocolate chip cookie or a fudgy brownie. Among other sweet add-ons, the pizza will be topped with ice cream and candy or cookie pieces.

The new dish will also come in four featured flavor combinations — Oreo Cookies ‘N Cream, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Jamoca Almond Fudge and Heath, and Peanut Butter ‘n Chocolate and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup. However, guests will have the option to fully customize their Polar Pizza with any Baskin-Robbins ice cream flavor and toppings combination of their choosing, a representative said in an email.

Finishing off the “pizza” appearance, the dessert will be pre-cut into slices and served in a pizza box-like package.

Baskin-Robbins’ Polar Pizzas will be available in Las Vegas ice cream shops this summer.
