Cosmo plays host to Lise’s fresh pop

Her parents are New Orleans jazzbos, and judging by her blood-warming, vintage-sounding soul, Aijia Lise spent plenty of time raiding Mom and Dad's record collection.

She's no anachronism, though: Lise's winsome, R&B-inflected pop feels as fresh as it does familiar.
