Torrey Pines Drive. Admission to the benefit for Special Olympics Nevada is free; lunch of a burger, chips and a soft drink is $5.

Los Angeles/Las Vegas chef Shirley Chung, a former “Top Chef” contestant, and Batali &Bastianich director of operations Zach Allen will present a culinary trip from Italy to China at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Carnevino Italian Steakhouse at the Palazzo.
