The Las Vegas concert tickets on sale today

On the heels of dropping its latest effort, the four-song EP “Trust Fall (Side A),” its Island Records debut, Incubus has been booked for a pair of dates at The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel over Labor Day weekend. Tickets for both shows — Sept. 5 and 6 — range from $69.50 to $195 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday (702-693-5220).

Elsewhere, a triple bill was just announced that will invariably set the hearts of modern rock fans racing. Charlie XCX, Bleachers and Robert DeLong are due to play Boulevard Pool at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on Oct. 9. Tickets are $25 (with a buck from each entry being donated to the Ally Coalition) and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday (800-745-3000)

Garbage is also slated for a date at Boulevard Pool on Oct. 10. Tickets for that show, which includes support from Torres, are $40 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday (800-745-3000).

Boston-based band Lettuce has announced plans to come to Las Vegas for a show at Brooklyn Bowl on Sept. 23. Tickets are $20 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday (702-862-2695).

Common Kings, meanwhile, bring their distinctive OC-bred island groove to Las Vegas for a show at Brooklyn Bowl on Aug. 15. Tickets for the date are $20-$22 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday (702-862-2695).

Oh, and here’s something you don’t see every day, a music video with a thousand cameos.

Yes, Boy Who Cried Wolf, right? But, no, seriously. Not being hyperbolic at all here and throwing out random numbers with wildly exaggerated figures, like we’ve been know to do from time to time (ahem, 160 degrees, 6 million videos, etc).

It seems this new video from Mew for the song “The Night Believer” reportedly features 1,000 fans of the band from all over the world. We say “reportedly” because we have no way of actually knowing if that number is accurate, as the visages flicker with the frequency of a faulty fluorescent light tube. I mean, we’d count them and all, but who has that kind of time?

If you’re really curious, I suppose, and want to know how the members of Mew came about that figure, you can ask them to quantify it yourself when they come to town for a show at the Bunkhouse (124 S. 11th St.) on Sept. 19. Tickets for the gig, which was announced this week and will also feature the Dodos, go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. for $12.

And while we’re on the subject of new shows at the Bunkhouse, there’s three more you should know about that also go on sale Friday at 10 a.m., one starring Dawes with John Moreland on Aug. 8 ($20-$20), another with Savages on Aug. 21 ($20-$25) and the last one featuring Gardens and Villa on Oct. 8 ($8-10).
