The King lives! – in Mesquite this weekend

Elvis impersonators will gather in Mesquite this weekend for the third annual Elvis Rocks Mesquite at the CasaBlanca Resort.

The event kicks off today with a happy hour and meet and greet from 5 to 8 p.m. in the CasaBlanca Lounge.

Friday in the CasaBlanca Showroom, the Best of the '60s competition is set from 4 to 6 p.m., with the Best of the '70s competition from 7 to 10 p.m. Elvis Karaoke will begin at 10 p.m. Friday in the CasaBlanca Lounge.

Saturday's events include the Best of the '50s competition from 4 to 6 p.m. and the finals of Elvis Rocks Mesquite and Copy Cats from 8 to 10 p.m. Karaoke is back in the lounge at 10 p.m.

The event wraps up Sunday with a group wedding and renewal of vows at the CasaBlanca pool gazebo.
