Minus the Bear bringing inventive sound to Vegas

Seattle's Minus the Bear once favored cheeky song titles ("Thanks for the Killer Game of Crisco Twister," "Hey, Wanna Throw Up?," "Get Me Naked 2: Electric Boogaloo"), but these days, their playfulness is fully grounded in the tunes themselves.

Equal parts pop and prog, the quintet anchors buoyant melodies with intricate guitar work and shifty arrangements for a sound that's immediate, nuanced and as inventive as their song handles used to be.
