Imagine Dragons’ new music video features Strat rides — VIDEO

OK, imagine, if you will, a high profile pop band precariously suspended nearly a mile above the Las Vegas strip, with only bent metal and harnesses to protect them, with smiles plastered on their face, knowing they signed up for this white-knuckle, nerve-shattering hellride. [Insert dramatic music…dun, dun, dun].

Actually, no need to imagine. Here you go.

Click play and witness Imagine Dragons’ brand new video for “Shots.” Directed by Matt Eastin and filmed entirely in and around the Stratosphere, with GoPro footage aplenty, the clip is a light-hearted nod to the outfit’s hometown.

To wit: You’ve got the guys rolling up to the Strat on bikes, cruising up to the top of the tower, where the four of them strap in and anxiously brace for a freefall, before terrifyingly (for our friends with acrophobia) taking on the various death-defying contraptions and attractions offered at the iconic tower (bungee-jumping, anyone?).

Be sure to stick around to the end of the video for some amusing b-roll footage. It’ll be more fun than you can, uh, imagine.
