Lucki Thai

467 E. Silverado Ranch Blvd., Suite 165, 702-689-3557

Family-owned Lucki Thai is a cozy eatery in the Silverado Ranch Village shopping center, with quiet booths lining the walls and subdued lighting. The menu offers Chinese as well as Japanese options, but everything is cooked in a very Thai tradition. Appetizers include chicken satay and egg rolls, each arriving with yellow curry dipping sauce. Beef jerky is dense strips of beef with Thai barbecue glaze. Entrees, including curry, rice and noodle dishes, start at $8.95 for chicken, beef, pork, tofu or vegetables, with seafood options available for several dollars more. Highlights include spicy basil, fresh ginger, garlic pepper, spicy eggplant, sweet and sour, orange sauce and pad prik king. Noodle options include chow mein, pad kee mao, pad see ew, pad woon sen and pad Thai. Salads vary from a simple house salad ($3.95) to full meals such as the seafood salad ($14.95). Soups include miso, egg drop, wor wonton, vegetable and tofu, tom kha, tom yum and noodle. Lunch specials are offered from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday for $7.95 ($9.95 for shrimp) and come with egg drop soup, an egg roll, a fried wonton and a house salad, along with entree choices of red, green or yellow curry, pad Thai, spicy basil, veggies delight, Mongolian, Kung Pao, fried rice or broccoli.
