The Palms discovered last week it is easy to attract attention hosting the Pole Expo. Women spun, slid and twirled on poles, dazzling crowds flocking to see the spectacle.
More than 1,200 people attended the third annual Pole Expo. The convention attracted people from more than 30 countries to learn about pole fitness and dancing. A group of about 100 women were taught how to twerk properly by Dior Dances of Vacaville, Calif.
The convention delved into subjects such as physical and racial affinity groups in pole dancing as well as bringing pole fitness to the Olympics. There really was more than just women dancing on poles at the Pole Expo 2014.
