See who did (and didn’t) pull in the big bucks
A few weeks back in an interview with the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s Mike Weatherford, New Kids on the Block singer Donnie Wahlberg hinted that the group might be up for a Vegas residency in the future.
Doubt it now.
NKOTB’s recent four-night stint at Planet Hollywood Resort did less than stellar numbers. The shows grossed more than $1 million because of a top ticket price of $300 but drew only slightly more than half capacity at The Axis.
At the same venue two weeks later, the Nine Inch Nails/Soundgarden pairing did better business.
