Cut Copy showing love at Brooklyn Bowl
August 7, 2014 - 7:02 pm
Australia’s Cut Copy trade in dance music radiant enough to enhance vitamin D production.
Early Primal Scream, the Pet Shop Boys and many late nights/early mornings at the discotheque all figure prominently into the quartet’s feel-good electronica.
Their latest record, the indefatigable “Free Your Mind,” could start a party in a funeral procession.
“Just keep holding onto to love” they urge on “Show Me the Love.”
Hard to do so, though, with one’s arms in the air.
