5 inexpensive live music shows coming up in Las Vegas
Back in Black
Black Camaro is back and in the middle of a monthlong residency at the Bunkhouse. Thursday, Leather Lungs, the Bitters and Strange Mistress share the bill. The following Thursday, Black Camaro will be joined by Bee Master, Blaire Dewayne from Rusty Maples and the Unwieldies. Tickets are $5; the show’s at 8 p.m.
Like A Boz
If your heart belongs to the Smiths and Morrissey, head to the Bunkhouse on Friday for a special show featuring Boz Boorer with the 11th Street Band and Close to Modern, along with DJ sets from Boz, Hektor Rawkerz and Allen. Tickets are $10; the show starts at 10 p.m.
Super duper
Head down to Diablo’s Cantina at the Monte Carlo on Saturday to catch the Supersuckers. The band’s in town for the 9th annual Rock-n-Roll Rodeo with Cadillac Tramps, Kings of the Wild Frontier and Pleasure Born. The 21-and-older show is free before 9 p.m.
Hair and now
Remember the Reagan era, when hair metal reigned supreme and the Sunset Strip practitioners roamed the land with guitars in hand? Relive that decadent decade Friday at Count’s Vamp’d with Bang Tango and Tuff. The show, which also features Strange Mistress, is $5 and starts at 9 p.m.
Top Gun
Tracii Guns, guitar great known for his time in groups such as Guns N’ Roses, L.A. Guns, Contraband and Brides of Destruction, is returning to Las Vegas on Saturday for a show at Count’s Vamp’d with Dellacoma. The show’s $5 and starts at 9 p.m.
