5 Las Vegas spots for a Valentine’s Day treat

The Valentine's celebration is starting early this year, in many cases lasting the whole weekend. Here are five ways to celebrate.

Strawberry gazpacho

This fruitier version of a classic gazpacho, topped with Kusshi oysters and finished with basil blossom and crispy guanciale, is part of a four-course Valentine's Day menu, $75.

Heart-shaped ravioli

Spinach- and ricotta-stuffed ravioli with basil are part of a four-course Valentine's menu, $56, Feb. 12-14.

Melt Your Heart

Mozen Bistro and Mandarin Bar, Mandarin Oriental

This heart-shaped dessert of chocolate ganache, poached pear and hazelnut and ivory chocolate is served with raspberry coulis that melts the heart, $24, Feb. 12-14.

Orange-chocolate crepe

The Barrymore, Royal Resort

A crepe filled with dark chocolate custard and Grand Marnier berry compote, topped with creme fraiche sherbet, is part of a three-course menu, $70, Feb. 12-14 (also a la carte).

Raspberry-chocolate cupcake

Sprinkles, The Linq

Raspberry cupcakes with Belgian dark chocolate chips are topped with raspberry frosting and a perky pink heart, $3.75 each.
