This week’s 5 best bets for dining in Las Vegas
For friends
Just in time for Las Vegas’ steamiest weather, La Cave Wine & Food Hideaway at Wynn Las Vegas has introduced a range of seasonal signature cocktails, with their roots firmly soaked in tradition, starting at $16. An example is the Basil Ginger Mojito, made with Fever Tree ginger beer, Meyer’s lime juice and fresh mint. La Cave also is offering beer flights themed to “light,” “love,” “riches” and fruit,” at $13 to $15 for four 3-ounce pours, and the restaurant’s seasonal menu includes such dishes as hamachi crudo drizzled with lemon oil and served with pickled beets, $16.

Take your honey on a picnic Tuesday without having to worry about warding off ants or packing a checkered tablecloth.
