Westgate gets ‘Sexxy’ with topless cabaret show

There are no shirtless dudes in “Sexxy,” nor any brassy female comedians making fun of men.

And yet veteran producer Blair Farrington believes the new topless cabaret show he is helping first-time producer Jennifer Romas create will appeal to women as well as men.

“Men fantasize about the women in the show and women fantasize that they want to be like the women,” Farrington says of the all-female cast in the revue, which opened earlier this week in the Shimmer Cabaret of the Westgate Las Vegas. “You get the feeling of what I would call strong women.”

If you doubt him, consider he made female fans of a show called “Love Kittens” in Atlantic City.

Farrington is lending his experience to the quickly assembled “Sexxy,” because the athletic Romas needs some perspective: She is onstage performing the show as well as producing it.

Romas has danced in several Las Vegas shows including the Shimmer’s Prince tribute “Purple Reign.” The cast also includes singer Gabriella Versace, a veteran of revues including “Erocktica Live,” and silk aerialist Svetlana Ghetman.
