Strip Tips: Leatherface actor hosting ‘Chainsaw’ party

Are you wondering why Leatherface wields a chain saw in "Texas Chainsaw 3D"? Or what drives him to murder just about anyone who crosses his path? You can ask him - rather, Dan Yeager, the guy who plays Leatherface - today at Eli Roth's Goretorium, 3717 Las Vegas Blvd. South.

Yeager, a former local who moved to Los Angeles to work in film, will host a party to promote "Texas Chainsaw 3D," which debuted as the No. 1 movie in the country earlier this month. The party starts at 7 p.m. in the Goretorium's Baby Doll Lounge. Celebrities are scheduled to arrive at midnight. Tickets start at $29.95. For more information, visit goretorium.com.

'Fluffy Menu'

Comedian Gabriel Iglesias is back at The Mirage today through Sunday. And BLT Burger is bringing back his special menu, the "Fluffy Menu," too. Indulge in the "Six Levels of Fatness," which includes pickle pillows and a heart-palpitating burger called the "Daaaaamn Burger," a triple patty topped with jalapeño jack cheese, mayonnaise, a fried egg, tobacco onions and BLT sauce.

Iglesias will do a meet and greet with fans from 1 to 3 p.m. today at BLT. The first 50 fans will receive one free Fluffy's Cake Shake.

Tickets to Iglesias' show cost $49.99 and $59.99 and are available at mirage.com.

Art at Cosmo

Local Jason Adkins is the new artist-in-residence at P3 Studios in The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. The painter will be working in the studio through Feb. 10. While there, he will invite guests to help him piece together a puzzle by replicating famous images and prominent pieces of art. Adkins will give painting tips on techniques and color mixing, too. Completed squares will be assembled on the studio walls and displayed throughout his stay.

Catch Adkins from 9 to 11 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.
