Strip Tips: Celebrate July Fourth with drink specials

Get your independence on at Rockhouse in the Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian.

Starting July 4, the ultra dive bar will offer red, white or blue daiquiris in 32-ounce “bone” cups for $13. These bone cups are the signature cup of Rockhouse so you get a souvenir that lasts longer than your buzz. If you’re wearing a patriotic bikini — red, white or blue or any combination thereof — you’ll get open all-day bar access on July 4 for just $5. Party shots will also be available at $4 each.

On July 5, National Bikini Day, if you purchase a Rockhouse bikini, you can get a free open bar all day.

Patio party

PBR Rock Bar & Grill, inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort, will throw an “Independency” Day patio party on July 4.

Get special menus and prices for Patron and Patron XO Cafe Dark Cocoa Tequila cocktails from 7 to 9 p.m. Drinks are $8 each. Patron XO shots will be available for $5 and open bar access can be had for just $50. Guests can also get in for half-price to the Rock Bar that day.

Meet Mike Tyson

Boxing Hall of Famer, former heavyweight champion and ear-biter extraordinaire Mike Tyson is scheduled to make an appearance at Tristar Sports Memorabilia inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort.

On Friday and Saturday, “Iron” Mike will meet fans, sign autographs and pose for photos from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Fees will be charged depending on your request. Call ahead for a price range, 702-534-1650.
