Las Vegas restaurant specials for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

A number of Southern Nevada restaurants have announced promotions to raise money for breast-cancer research during October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. So here's yet another opportunity — actually, 10 opportunities — to do good while eating well:

Amigo's, Fiesta Henderson, 777 W. Lake Mead Parkway: Susan G. Komen of Southern Nevada and the American Cancer Society will benefit from $1 for every order of traditional fajitas with pink flour tortillas or pink sopapillas sold through Oct. 31.

Brio Tuscan Grille, Tivoli Village, 440 N. Rampart Blvd.: Twenty percent of proceeds from dine-in sales from 4 to 8 p.m. Oct. 28 will be donated to Susan G. Komen of Southern Nevada.

Cabo Mexican Restaurant at Boulder, Palace, Santa Fe and Sunset Stations: Susan G. Komen of Southern Nevada and the American Cancer Society will benefit from $1 for every order of traditional fajitas with pink flour tortillas or pink sopapillas sold through Oct. 31.

Cabo Wabo Cantina, Miracle Mile Shops, 3663 Las Vegas Blvd. South: Through Oct. 31, Vojito cocktail (Devotion Black and Blue vodka, berries, mint and lime juice), $13; $1 from each Vojito sold will be donated to Susan G. Komen of Southern Nevada.

Double Helix Wine & Whiskey Lounge, Town Square, 6599 Las Vegas Blvd. South, and Double Helix Wine & Whiskey Bar, The Palazzo, 3325 Las Vegas Blvd. South: Real Men Drink Pink rose flight, $19; a portion of proceeds will be donated to Susan G. Komen Southern Nevada.

Garduno's, Fiesta Rancho, 2400 N. Rancho Drive: Susan G. Komen of Southern Nevada and the American Cancer Society will benefit from $1 for every order of traditional fajitas with pink flour tortillas or pink sopapillas sold through Oct. 31.

P.F. Chang's, multiple locations: Through Oct. 31, buy Jicama Street Tacos, take a picture in front of the pink-rose-bedecked Warrior Horse outside the restaurant, share on Twitter or Instagram or upload to the tab on P.F. Chang's Facebook page, and $1 will be donated to the American Cancer Society.

Searsucker, Caesars Palace, 3570 Las Vegas Blvd. South: Through Oct. 31, for each Jaleberry Goes Pink cocktail sold (strawberry jalapeno tequila, lime and agave nectar), $1 will be donated to Susan G. Komen of Southern Nevada.

Trevi Italian Restaurant, The Forum Shops at Caesars, 3500 Las Vegas Blvd. South: Pretty in Pink menu through Oct. 31 has watermelon, cherry or strawberry Italian sodas, $5, and strawberry gelato, $6.50 a scoop. Ten percent of sales will be donated to Susan G. Komen of Southern Nevada; guests must mention the Pretty in Pink menu at time of purchase.
