With a menu that boasts more than 152 hot dog and sausage combinations, Great Links Brew House & Grill almost feels like hot dog heaven. The beef hot dogs it uses are custom-made in New York City by Boar’s Head. The Las Vegas Chili Dog is made with sage sausage, white chili, pepperjack cheese, dill relish, tomatoes, cayenne sour cream and spicy mustard. The Southern Griller Dog is topped with grilled peppers, red onion sauce, barbecue sauce and coleslaw. Veggie dogs are available. The menu also offers chicken and fish sandwiches and hamburgers with just as many topping choices, along with a variety of specialty fries, jalapeno poppers, Frito Pie (mild beef chili and cheddar cheese on a pile of Fritos Scoops) and beer-battered mushrooms. Patrons can wash down the flavorful food with a tall root beer float or shake, or they can choose from more than 25 domestic and imported bottled beers. Although the interior dining space is small, the environment is family-friendly. Great Links is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday and Monday and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
