13 places to get a pumpkin spice latte in Las Vegas that aren’t Starbucks

If you're at all aware of what's going on in the world of pop culture, you know that Starbucks' pumpkin-spice latte, a limited-edition seasonal offering, went on sale today. If you want to know how popular it is, just Google "pumpkin-spice;" "latte" will be the first thing to come up, leading you to a multitude of stories and other references to the megacoffeehouse.

But the Starbucks drink isn't exactly a lonely latte; here are a baker's dozen of other local coffee shops that offer pumpkin-spice coffee drinks.

  • Avery's Coffee, 9440 W. Sahara Ave.: Latte, frappe or cappucino.
  • The Beat, 520 Fremont St.: Available in iced or hot lattes.
  • The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, multiple locations: Pumpkin latte, Ice Blended or Chai Ice Blended.
  • Desert Wind Coffee Roasters: 7772 W. Sahara Ave.: Will have pumpkin-spice next week.
  • Grouchy John's, 8520 S. Maryland Parkway: Has been serving pumpkin-spice beverages for two weeks, a representative said, and makes them with pumpkin puree, pumpkin-spice syrup and pumpkin pie spice. They have lattes, frappes, steamers — "any way you want it," he said.
  • Hexx Chocolate & Confections, Paris Las Vegas: The full-service Peet's Coffee & Tea area serves Peet's pumpkin latte.
  • Illumilatte Brew Society, 6528 Russell Road: Pumpkin spice can be added to any drink.
  • The Lodge Coffee House & Tavern, 5745 S. Durango Drive: Can be added to any drink, year-round.
  • Madhouse Coffee, 8899 S. Eastern Ave.: Will make pumpkin-spice coffee drinks by request.
  • Madhouse Coffee, 8470 W. Desert Inn Road: Hot, iced or blended pumpkin-spice drinks.
  • Sambalatte Torrefazione, multiple locations: No pumpkin spice now, but it's expected later in the season.
  • Sunrise Coffee House, 3130 E. Sunset Road: Pumpkin-spice lattes available year-round.
  • Tiabi Coffee & Waffle, 3961 Maryland Parkway: Pumpkin-spice lattes and frappes.
