Tea party to celebrate art

The Jenny Valdez Gallery inside The Arts Factory, 107 E. Charleston Blvd., plans to host an ArtisTea Garden Party from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday featuring treats and tea by brewed Ashanti McGee and tea cup and flower works from local and regional artists, from left, Lynne Adamson, Charmaine Gurule and Jenny Valdez. Other participating artists include Barbara Gomez, Theresa Lucero, Jana Lynch, Jaye and Nicholas Walsh . The event is free and open to the public. Visit jennyvaldez.com for more information.
