Boyz II Men will stay at Mirage through 2018

Boyz II Men sing about the "End of the Road," but they can look three years down it at The Mirage.

The veteran R&B trio announced Wednesday that The Mirage will continue to host the act through 2018. Boyz II Men will continue to work in three-day weekends roughly twice a month.

Last year, the group sounded so fond of its Las Vegas gig it was hoping to do more than the three nights available when headliner Terry Fator isn't using the theater.

"If they give us one more day a week, we might have to get a residence out here," Nathan Morris said of singing partners Shawn Stockman and Wanya Morris, who all fly in from different cities.

In March 2013, a longtime push for a Las Vegas residency paid off with the chance to share Fator's theater. Boyz proved their drawing power in their first 78 shows, and an extension through this year was announced when their last album, "Collide," was released in September 2014.

The show dates for the first half of 2016 are February 26-28; April 1-3, 15-17, 29-30; May 1, 13-15; June 3-5 and 10-12.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday through Ticketmaster and all MGM Resorts International properties; call 800-963-9634.
