Toast charity while ordering up Negroni cocktail

It’s Negroni Week through Sunday, and several Las Vegas restaurants and bars, like their counterparts around the world, are celebrating the cocktail that’s traditionally made with equal parts of gin, Campari and sweet vermouth, with proceeds donated to charities.

Paris Las Vegas created the world’s largest barrel-aged Negroni in mid-May and aged it for two weeks. It’s available through Sunday at VooDoo Steak, iBar and Martorano’s at the Rio; Signature Bar, Piano Bar, Carnaval Court and Bill’s Bar at Harrahs; TAG Sports Bar, Guy Fieri’s, O’Shea’s, 3535 and Catalyst Bar at The Linq; Lobby Bar and Rao’s at Caesars Palace; Center Cut at the Flamingo; Sully’s and BLT Steak at Bally’s; Le Central and Gustav’s at Paris Las Vegas; and Heart Bar at Planet Hollywood. It’s $7, and $1 for every one sold will go to Three Square food bank.

Three Square also will benefit from Negroni Week festivities at Hakkasan at MGM Grand. Hakkasan’s Smoky Negroni is different in that the ingredients are swirled in a decanter with smoke from wood chips. It sells for $17, and a portion of sales through Sunday will be donated to the food bank.

Negroni Week sales at Delmonico Steakhouse at The Venetian, Table 10 at Palazzo and Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House at MGM Grand will be shared with the Emeril Lagasse Foundation.

D.Vino Italian Food & Wine Bar at the Monte Carlo and Morels French Steakhouse & Bistro at Palazzo will donate to Keep Memory Alive, and sales at Tapas by Alex Stratta at Tivoli Village will benefit the Nevada Blind Children’s Foundation.
