Wranglers lose, 4-0, as Cincinnati takes 3-2 series lead

Cincinnati scored 3:57 into the contest and stayed in control throughout a 4-0 victory over the Wranglers in Game 5 of the ECHL Kelly Cup Finals on Monday in front of 6,957 fans at the Orleans Arena. ECHL Most Valuable Player David Desharnais had four assists and four different players scored for the Cyclones, who will take a 3-2 lead in the best-of-7 series into Thursday's Game 6 at the U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati. Several fans threw beer bottles, a soda cup and a bouncing ball on the ice with 17 seconds left in the Wranglers' final home game of the season. The 4-0 loss was the first shutout defeat of the playoffs for Las Vegas.
