TARKANIAN CLEARS FIRST HURDLE FOR HALL OF FAME

Jerry Tarkanian cleared the first hurdle Monday in his latest attempt to earn a place in the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame by making it to the official ballot for the next round of voting, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.
