SINGER ALLEN, BOYFRIEND SPLIT UP

Lily Allen has split from her boyfriend, Chemical Brothers musician Ed Simons, People magazine has confirmed.

Reports first surfaced in the British papers early Saturday – with some saying that Allen had been "dumped." But a friend of the singer tells People the couple actually spent some time together Saturday, suggesting that the parting might not be as acrimonious as first thought.
