ROBIN ROBERTS LEAVES ‘GOOD MORNING AMERICA’ FOR MEDICAL TREATMENT

Robin Roberts said goodbye — for now — to “Good Morning America” on Thursday, as the longtime co-host begins her medical treatment for MDS, a rare blood disorder.  Her departure came a day before expected, as Roberts will first fly to Mississippi to attend to her ailing mother and family in the hurricane zone.
