"American Idol" judge Steven Tyler may not be a single man any more ... TMZ has obtained photos of Tyler and fiancée Erin Brady engaged in some kind of ceremony yesterday in Maui.

As TMZ first reported, Brady has been seen sporting a massive rock lately ... much to the chagrin of Tyler's family. We're told they were upset they only heard about the engagement AFTER he popped the question.
