A spokesman for MGM International Resorts acknowledged Tuesday that the gaming giant is checking into a Twitter post by Michael Jordan's 19-year-old son that he partied at a CityCenter nightclub.
Marcus Jordan, on his Twitter feed Friday, tweeted "Last night was stupid..35k at Haze...Totals 50k something the whole day .. Damn!!"
If true, that's some serious allowance money.
Haze is a Light Group-operated nightclub in Aria, the anchor hotel-casino at MGM International's new CityCenter project.
Asked to comment on the development, MGM spokesman Alan Feldman responded by e-mail, "Heard about it yesterday. We’re looking into it."
Marcus Jordan, who turns 20 on Dec. 24, and his brother Jeff, 21, were reportedly in Las Vegas to visit a Michael Jordan fantasy camp at The Mirage.
Both of Jordan's sons were scheduled to start classes Monday at the University of Central Florida. Reports say Marcus Jordan was the 59th-ranked shooting guard in the class of 2009. His brother was a walk-on at the University of Illinois, but recently quit after playing his way to a scholarship.
