LONDON CHEFS CHASE OFF RIOTING THUGS
August 9, 2011 - 6:30 pm
The chefs and waitstaff of a posh "Notting Hill" restaurant are being hailed as heroes for defending terrified customers from rioters
Staff from the Michelin-starred eatery The Ledbury in London leapt into action, grabbing rolling pins, fry baskets and other heavy cooking utensils after an angry crowd used bats to smash the restaurant's window.
The quick-thinking staff frightened off the mob, according to Louise Lang, an American food blogger who was in London this week.
