KRIS HUMPHRIES BACKS OUT OF LAS VEGAS CLUB HOSTING JOB

Kim Kardashian's estranged husband, Kris Humphries, has backed out of his first celebrity hosting engagement Saturday at Chateau Nightclub & Gardens at Paris Las Vegas.

The club statement read: "Kris Humphries has canceled his engagement on Saturday night at Chateau Nightclub & Gardens. We support his decision and recognize this has been a difficult week for Kim and Kris, and look forward to having him back when he is ready."

Kardashian filed for divorce from Humphries on Monday, citing "irreconcilable differences." They were married Aug. 20.

With the NBA in lockout mode, Humphries, who played for the New Jersey Nets last season, likely could have used the easy money for about three hours of his time.

It was rumored he was to be be paid under $50,000 for the hosting.
