It was the hot ticket in New York City on Wednesday night. But you didn't even need a ticket.

Justin Timberlake put on a free, impromptu concert at the Southern Hospitality barbecue joint in Manhattan's Hell's Kitchen neighborhood, after Tweeting an invitation earlier in the day.

The bar and restaurant was filled to capacity by 9 p.m. for the 11 p.m. show, and fans packed the streets outside. New York's finest were on hand to monitor the crowd.
