DA pursues charges in beating by rap mogul Suge Knight

The Clark County district attorney’s office is pursuing charges against rap mogul Marion "Suge" Knight for an incident in late August in which he is alleged to have beaten his girlfriend.

Knight faces two counts of possession of a controlled substance, for possessing Ecstasy and hydrocodone, and one count of battery for attacking Melissa Isaac.

Las Vegas police said officers witnessed Knight beating up Isaac while brandishing a knife in a parking lot on Spring Mountain Road near Interstate 15 on Aug. 27.
