CELINE TALKS OPENLY ABOUT BREAST FEEDING HER TWIN BOYS

Celine Dion revealed during her opening night press conference Tuesday that she uses a breast pump before each show and has the milk delivered to her twin sons in her Caesars Palace suite.

Dion provided the information matter of factly while answering a question about her daily routine of balancing a career with motherhood.

She met with dozens of reporters for about an hour in The Colosseum, home of her theater at Caesars Palace.

She added that she’s on a four-hour feeding schedule with Eddy and Nelson, who were born Oct. 23.

It requires middle-of-the-night wakeups which makes for an odd sleeping schedule, she said.

Some days, she added, “I stay in PJs (pajamas) all day.”

Asked about the horrific events unfolding in Japan, Dion said, “the whole world is scared. I’m scared. I think everyone’s scared.”

She added that she was “amazed” at the strength and disciple of the Japanese people in the face of such a disaster.

“We just have to help them as much as we can,” she said.

Vegas Confidential asked her if the musical interests of her 10-year-old son Rene-Charles lean more toward Justin Bieber or Lady Gaga or others?

“I have to say the kid amazes me tremendously,” she said.

“I don't have time play music in the house, I rarely sing songs, TV is rarely (on) and then he knows all of the music.

“He's got an amazing knowledge of all music.

“One of his favorite things now is he takes his laptop, he chooses a song and then acts the video and records himself and says "mom see the video I did."

“He loves music and I don't know if he'll be in the music industry. His knowledge of music is big, from Lady Gaga to Beatles and Elvis – big, big!

“I'm glad because when I started to sing, he was two, and we were here in Las Vegas. Music wasn't part of his life at the time.

“He didn't like music and it made him emotional. He wasn't sure and now, he knows music much better than I do.”

After the press conference, I asked her husband/manager Rene Angelil about his oldest son’s musical tastes.

“They are different than his mother’s,” he said, breaking into a smile.
