BILL CLINTON IN VEGAS TO BOOST RORY REID’S RUN FOR GOVERNOR
With Hillary Clinton out of the country on her first trip as U.S. Secretary of State, former President Bill Clinton was in Las Vegas, spotted having a midnight dinner Sunday at Caesars Palace.
The ex-president was at Bobby Flay’s Mesa Grill with a large group that included Clark County Commissioner Rory Reid and Steve Bing, the Hollywood film and music producer who has been a major Democratic donor and FOB, Friend of Bill, over the years.
Clinton was reportedly in town to attend a fundraiser at the Springs Preserve for Reid, who is laying the groundwork for a run for governor.
Clinton posed for photos with restaurant staffers before joining his group for a dinner that included steaks, scallops, chili rellenos and wine.
Also spotted among the group: Caesars Palace president Gary Selesner, developer and Democratic donor Steve Cloobeck and his wife Chantal, and nightclub executive Marklen Kennedy.
