ANGELINA JOLIE’S DARK SIDE SURFACES WHILE SHOPPING IN VEGAS

Parenthood hasn’t diminished Angelina Jolie’s eccentric side.

The Oscar winner took three of her children on a bizarre Las Vegas shopping trip Sunday that saw her purchase keychains featuring freeze-dried rattlesnake heads.

In town to celebrate her husband Brad Pitt’s 48th birthday, Jolie showed up at 1 p.m. at Bonanza Gifts, known for it quirky assortment of Vegas-centric souvenirs.

In addition to the keychains attached to rattlesnake heads and one with a rattler, she bought a couple other items that may have been gag birthday gifts for Pitt.

They included a 100-ounce plastic drinking cup and Polly the Insulting Parrot, a talking toy guaranteed to make a sailor blush.

"It has horribly foul language," said store manager Angie Hurt, who said Jolie also visited the store in 2002 with oldest son, Maddox, now 10.

Jolie was with Pax, 8, and Shiloh and Vivienne, both 3, on Sunday.

Jolie’s dark side is well documented. After she married Billy Bob Thornton in Las Vegas on May 5, 2000 in Las Vegas, both wore a vial containing the other's blood around their necks.

In a "60 Minutes” profile last month, she acknowledged going through “heavier, darker times" earlier in her life, adding she still has an edginess. “I still have that side of me…it’s just in places now…it belongs to Brad.”

She won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role as a sociopath in “Girl, Interrupted.”

Jolie and Pitt, who attended Cirque du Soleil's Michael Jackson tribute "The Immortal" at Mandalay Bay on Saturday with the kids, also visited the resort's Shark Reef aquatic attraction.
