ABC’S ‘EXTREME MAKEOVER: HOME EDITION’ WORKING ON VEGAS DREAM HOME

A struggling Las Vegas family just received word today: ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" design team arrived to build their dream home.

Remember the "boy in the bubble?"

Terri and Chuck Cerda of Las Vegas have two young daughters -- Molly and Maggie-- who were diagnosed with
Combined Immune Deficiency Disease (CIDD) at the age of three, and are now living in a home that is threatening their lives. "Boy in the Bubble" David Vetter suffered from a similar condition, one that means that a simple cold is a life threatening lung infection.

The Cerda home will be demolished Thursday and rebuilt within seven days to provide a sterile bubble for the ailing daughters.
