The Las Vegas Philharmonic’s new music director, Donato Cabrera, announced details of the orchestra’s 2014-15 season, but due to prior commitments he’ll only be conducting some of the concerts.
Las Vegas Philharmonic officials introduced Donato Cabrera as the orchestra’s new music director on Monday afternoon. Cabrera, who spent part of his boyhood in Las Vegas, also has served with the San Francisco Symphony and the California Symphony.
The First Friday arts festival is scheduled from 6 p.m. to midnight May 2 at venues throughout the 18b Arts District in downtown Las Vegas.
