After two years of searching, the Las Vegas Philharmonic season got off to a strong start Saturday with its new music director Donato Cabrera at the helm.
“How did you get to be here?” is the question that “Merrily We Roll Along” explores as it follows the life of everyman Frank Shepard backward from the despair of his empty success to a time when his heart was still full of youthful hope.

The smell of gasoline, exhaust and rubber is set to return to downtown Henderson as an armada of classic cars fills the Water Street District for the 15th annual Super Run Classic Car Show at noon Sept. 25 at the Fiesta Henderson, 777 W. Lake Mead Parkway.
