WELCOME BACK, INDY! $25M THURSDAY; …BUT MOVIE TICKET PRICES ARE SOARING

he Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull was $25 million for North America. That's an excellent though not a record-breaking start to its 5-day Memorial Day Weekend since analysts believed that any total over $18 million for Thursday would be considered major moolah. The studio is lowering expectations and now thinks a $150 million haul for the holiday period looks likely. (I will be refining these numbers as more information becomes available...)
