STUNT GOES UP IN SMOKE

Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington watches flames pour out of a locked box that was supposed to be containing daredevil magician Steve Wyrick, who was attempting the "Death Drop" at the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort on Saturday. After the fire was extinguished, the box was opened to make sure Wyrick was safe. Except he wasn't in the box. According to a publicist, Wyrick appeared in a helicoptor that arrived at the south entrance of the Miracle Mile Shops. The stunt was performed to mark the opening of Bennington's Club Tattoo.
