SHANIA TWAIN TAKES A TUMBLE AT THE CMT AWARDS

Shania Twain took a nasty, painful-looking spill Wednesday night at the CMT Music Awards in Nashville. Approaching the stage to present Blake Shelton with his trophy for Male Video of the Year, Twain lost her footing and fell -- hard! -- as fans looked on. She quickly dusted herself off and ascended the stage to applause.

More importantly, she confirmed, "I didn't hurt myself. I have a bit of a sore thumb -- that's it."

The culprit may have been her high-heeled shoes. "I'm gonna auction off those shoes. I'm gonna get rid of them as soon as I can. I never want to see those shoes again!"
