GARTH HELPS SET TONE FOR WYNN WEDDING WEEKEND

Steve Wynn and Andrea Hissom lifted the curtain on their gala wedding weekend with a white party that delivered on the promised theme of frivolity.

Country star Garth Brooks sang “Friends in Low Places” to a huge ballroom crowd filled with some of Hollywood’s biggest names on the eve of the Wynn-Hissom wedding.

High winds moved the planned poolside soiree into the LaTour Ballroom. More than 500 people attended the party.

Spotted by our spies: best man Clint Eastwood, Donald and Melania Trump, film director Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg, Sylvester Stallone, Phil Ruffin, entertainment legends Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gorme, film director Brett Ratner, Wynn’s divorce lawyer Jim Jimmerson and his wife Carol, O.J. Simpson attorney Robert Shapiro, former Nevada Gov. Bob Miller, and Vegomatic inventor Ron Popeil.

Tony winner Sara Ramirez of “Spamalot” fame performed "An Old Fashioned Wedding.”

The Las Vegas Academy for the Arts also performed.

Brooks and Trisha Yearwood teamed up on "You've Always Been a Friend to Me."

Twyla Tharp’s “Sinatra Dance With Me” gave a performance and finished with “Going to the Chapel and We’re Going to Get Married.”

Guests dined creations by Wynn chefs Alex Stratta, Paul Bartolotta, David Walzog, Jet Tila, Devin Hashimoto, Rene Lenger, Mark LoRusso, Pierre Gatel and Ming Yu.

There was buzz at the party that Billy Joel may be performing at the reception Saturday.
