(VIDEO) FLOODING CREATES 100-FOOT WATERFALL NEAR LAKE LAS VEGAS

A nearly 100-foot waterfall opened up at Lake Las Vegas near Henderson as a result of flooding on Wednesday afternoon. The National Weather Service reported that more than 1 1/2 inches of rain fell in a one-hour span in Henderson.  The area hit hardest by Wednesday's storms was near U.S. Highway 95 and the Las Vegas Beltway, which received nearly 2 inches of rain.
