The eight stages at Electric Daisy Carnival each carry their own theme and cater to a different style of electronic dance music, for the most part. Event founder Pasquale Rotella breaks down each of them:
“There’s no news, no political tweets showing up. The only thing that anybody at the festival has to think about is the festival itself and the people around them,” says Las Vegas-based DJ 3lau.
He’s made the trek for 20 years now, but it was a plastic ring scored from a liquor store coin machine that made one trip especially memorable.
